Lu Xiaomeng is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the Survey and Research Center for China Household Finance of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. She is also a young outstanding talent of the "Tianfu Qingcheng Plan" in Sichuan Province. She has been focusing on the study of household finance since 2014, such as asset allocation, household debt, portfolio risk, social norms (marriage, non-complex education, etc.), credit and investment behavior, and household wellbeing. She has presided over and participated in several projects conducted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of education. She has also published many papers in core journals, such as Finance Research Letters, Economic Modelling, Emerging Markets Review, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Management World (China), and Statistical Research (China).
