Biography
Xiaolu Wang is a Visiting Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Stanford Center on China’s Economy and Institutions. She received her Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and Management from the China Agricultural University in 2023. Her research interests are in the fields of development economics and human capital accumulation. In particular, her research focuses on how the factors experienced by individuals in the growth process shape their human capital accumulation path. In addition, she also analyzes the association between food consumption, health status, and economic well-being from the perspective of genetic economics.
