Tianzhu Qin

Tianzhu Qin is a Visiting Student Researcher at the Stanford Center on China’s Economy and Institutions (2025–26). He is pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge. His research centers on methodological innovation in causal inference, including double machine learning, synthetic difference-in-differences, and high-dimensional time-series models, with applications to socio-technical transitions and climate action.
