Biography

Jiayi Hou is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Stanford Center on China’s Economy and Institutions (SCCEI) and a Research Associate at the HKU Centre for AI, Management and Organization (CAMO). He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Peking University in 2025. His research spans digital, organizational, and labor economics, with a focus on the adoption and use of AI in the workplace and the economic and social effects of digital platforms.
