Virtual Bootcamp Overview

This year we are calling our Summer Field Internship a Summer Research Bootcamp. During the bootcamp you will spend three weeks working virtually with Stanford faculty and REAP senior research staff to execute research programs and participate in lectures and discussions with China experts. Along the way, you will learn about what China’s development means for local families, gain valuable research experience, and contribute to our various projects targeting rural education and health.

At the end of the three weeks, you will give a group presentation with other participants sharing your experiences and project results. Reports from past participants have been used in academic papers, new project proposals, and outreach materials about our work.

Program Dates: June 14 - July 2, 2021
